You will need to instruct a solicitor at this point. If you haven’t already spoken with them, we will provide you with experienced and professional firms to help you also. The solicitor will then write to all parties and the buyer will instruct a surveyor to conduct a survey of your property and also the buyers’ mortgage offer will also be subject to the results of the survey. The seller's solicitors will request the title deeds from the lender (if needed), or yourselves as the seller as many forms will be needed to be completed. The solicitors also draw up the draft contract which sets of the terms of the sale and sends it to the buyer's solicitor together with all relevant documents. Everything will check and double checked to make sure everything is done correctly. Once the contracts have been approved, both the buyer and the seller can sign the contracts.
